Neskowin Beach Maternity Session

 

I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful maternity session for Greg and Madison, a couple I had the joy of celebrating with at their wedding just a year ago. Now, they’re on the exciting journey to meet their baby girl, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to document this special time in their lives.

Neskowin Beach, located just an hour west of Salem, Oregon, is a hidden gem for photography. With its picturesque views and the iconic Proposal Rock as a backdrop, it provided the perfect setting for a sunset session. The beach is not only beautiful but also accessible, making it easy for anyone to enjoy. Plus, the nearby parking lot features a restroom, which makes outfit changes a breeze!

Perfect Weather for Photography


Oregon’s coastal weather can be unpredictable, but we were fortunate to have an absolutely perfect sunny day with hardly any wind. The calm atmosphere added to the magical vibe of the session, allowing us to focus on capturing those intimate moments.

Stunning Outfits


Madison and Greg did an incredible job choosing their outfits for the session. Madison’s flowing lilac gown was a perfect match for the beach setting, adding a dreamy quality to the photos. The soft fabric beautifully complemented the natural surroundings and highlighted her radiant glow.

Maternity sessions are something I truly enjoy. I like to take my time and ensure my clients feel comfortable. I often start with gentle prompts to encourage natural candid moments before transitioning into more formal portraits.
